Botanical Watercolor Workshops

Teaching beginners to paint flowers with confidence in Bangkok

The Ttudio Door Opened To Something Unexpected

In 2016, I began hosting my own botanical watercolor workshops in Bangkok—teaching complete beginners how to paint delicate floral bouquets in just one day. These workshops quickly became popular for their warm atmosphere, structured approach, and empowering results. Each session was more than a class—it was an invitation to reconnect with creativity through flowers.

While I had previously taught at creative studios, designing and hosting these sessions on my own marked a pivotal shift. It allowed me to create a complete experience around my own artistic voice and teaching style. These workshops laid the foundation for what would eventually become my international online course business.

Many students arrived believing they weren’t artistic or had “no talent.” My goal was to prove them wrong in the best way possible—through step-by-step teaching, a friendly environment, and the magic of watercolor. I structured the workshops so students could complete a floral bouquet composition from start to finish, walking away with a finished piece they were proud of.

I designed every part of the workshop—from curriculum and materials to mood and flow. Key elements included:

- A beginner-friendly, structured approach to watercolor

- Real-time demonstrations of brushwork, layering, and color harmony

- Floral composition design (how to arrange petals, stems, and space)

- Techniques for capturing lightness, movement, and emotion in flowers

Every workshop was rooted in my own love of botanical drawing, especially the emotional and symbolic power of flowers.

These workshops helped dozens of beginners unlock new creative confidence. They also helped me unlock something within myself—realizing that I could design experiences, not just paintings.

The success of these early in-person sessions directly inspired the launch of my first online Procreate course, and eventually the growth of my full-scale art education company with students from all over the world.

This was the origin story. Every student who trusted me to guide them with a paintbrush gave me the confidence to build something bigger. And I still believe—if you love flowers, you can paint them. You just need someone to show you how.
