79 Botanical Illustrations For Amaffi

Hand-drawn watercolor artworks for a luxury perfume house's campaign, bottles, and boutique experience

The Weight of Beauty Demands Precision

Amaffi is a luxury perfume house known for its exquisite craftsmanship, reverence for art, and dedication to traditional perfume-making. Through freelance producer Elena Olova, they commissioned me to create a large collection of detailed botanical illustrations—each representing the rare ingredients used in their perfumes.

The brief required me to produce 79 high-quality, hand-drawn botanical artworks within a tight three-month timeline. These illustrations would be featured in their video commercial, on custom perfume ingredient bottles, on the brand’s website and social channels, and as part of the in-store perfume bar experience.

To meet the challenge, I committed myself fully to the project—working solo but with high standards. Each piece was rendered using watercolor and colored pencil on premium watercolor paper, showcasing a classic botanical style rooted in elegance, clarity, and natural composition.

I began with deep research on each plant and its essence. I then selected references with graceful forms, sketched balanced compositions, and highlighted intricate plant details—from delicate buds to curled leaves and weathered stems. The result? A collection of timeless botanical artworks designed to embody the rare beauty of each perfume ingredient.

I delivered over 80 hand-drawn illustrations on time—each piece carefully crafted with no shortcuts taken. The illustrations were featured in Amaffi’s perfume commercial, boutique display, ingredient cards, and across their digital presence.

While the client didn’t offer formal testimonials, I received warm appreciation from the producer for my discipline, fast delivery, and reliable communication. The work spoke for itself—and has remained one of the most fulfilling projects of my career.

This project was a dream come true. Drawing flowers with precision and passion, under real pressure, reminded me how powerful consistency and planning can be. It also confirmed that when I work with brands who value beauty, quality, and meaning, I thrive. This was more than illustration—it was a love letter to nature in its most refined form.
